Here at MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. Our acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” because we began in 1973 when a group of moms with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 48 years, MOPS has expanded our community to include moms with school-aged kids. In addition, we are partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 70 countries.
We are a diverse group of moms from Holden and the surrounding towns, including Paxton, Worcester, Shrewsbury, West Boylston, and beyond! We attend a variety of churches and welcome all moms, regardless of where you are in your faith journey. Our meetings are either online, at our host church, or at a member's home. Past topics have included parenting, marriage, de-cluttering, birthing options, and more! You'll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood. We also have regular Moms' Nights Out and daytime playdates. We love connecting with each other outside of our regular meetings!
